In Memory of Bruce Sheldon:Help support his family

Bruce A. Sheldon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. His passing was sudden and unexpected, and he will be deeply missed by many. He was a kind, loving family man, known for his warm smile and big heart.

Born on August 11, 1941, in Hudson, NY, my father, Bruce A. Sheldon, passed away on Thursday, September 12, at the age of 83. Bruce was the youngest of a large family and the son of the late Robert and Nora Sheldon. He was the devoted husband of over 54 years to the late Eileen C. Sheldon. A 1960 graduate of Columbia High School, Bruce retired from Tenneco, formerly Tennessee Gas, in Malden Bridge, NY, and also spent several years working at Groton Seaport in Connecticut.

As the youngest and last surviving sibling, Bruce cherished reminiscing about 'the good old days' with his nieces, nephews, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. He loved bowling, baseball, horse racing, watching wrestling, and any sporting event on TV.

Bruce is survived by his sons, Stepheon Sheldon (Katie) and Shawn Sheldon; grandchildren, Stepheon, Derrick, Latesha, Kayla, and Sidney; and great-grandchildren, Krystiana, John, Emma, Aaliyah, and Jayleigh.

As my brother and I navigate this difficult time, we are humbly asking for any contributions you can offer. Your support will help cover transportation, funeral arrangements, a headstone, and other unexpected expenses that have arisen from the loss of our father. Any donations, big or small, will help ease the burden during this challenging time, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity.
