In Loving Memory of Casey Holland

On behalf of the Holland Family, I am reaching out to you all with a heavy heart. Our family has suffered a profound loss, we humbly ask for your support in helping with Casey Holland's Homegoing Arrangements.

Casey's departure has left a void in our lives that cannot be filled. In times like these, it is crucial that we come together as family, friends, and community to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. Casey was born on July 21, 1995. He was a kind-hearted, energetic young man, from competing on Herndon High School's Wrestling team to being their Star Football player during his high school years of 2010-2014, making friends wherever he went. As well as, being an animal-lover, especially to his cat, CeCe. At the tender young age of 14, Casey was diagnosed with abnormal High Blood Pressure. He was taken to Children's Hospital, where, his HBP was treated, returning him back to his normal young life. By the age of 20 yrs old, he began complaining of pressure in his chest and back. Thinking he had a bad cold, or possibly, pneumonia in his lungs, Casey was fatally diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure. Resulting in Casey having his first open-heart surgery being performed in August 2016, a HeartMate2 (Heart Pump) was placed in his chest, drastically changing his perception of quality of life for the next 7 yrs, as he struggled with his health. This past October 12, 2023 he was rushed to the hospital due to the diagnosis of forming blood clots disrupting the function of his existing heart pump. On October 15, 2023, a second open heart surgery was performed, replacing the HeartMate2 with a HeartMate3 (heart pump). He remained in ICU for 3 months on Life Support, to which, all of his organs began to shut down. On January 22, 2024 at 2:28pm, Casey succumbed to his heart disease, gaining his Heavenly Angel wings. No more Suffering, no more Pain. Our family is currently going through a difficult time. The emotional toll of losing a loved one is already overwhelming, and the burden of funeral expenses only adds to that pain. That is why I am reaching out to our friends and family to ask for your assistance. Your generous donations/contributions will not only help alleviate the financial strain on the family but will also provide the support they desperately need during this time of grief and mourning. By working together, we can ensure that Casey receives the Homegoing he deserves and ease the burden on the family. We understand that everyone has their own commitments and responsibilities.
