In Memory of Cat: Help Fight Cancer

Tax deductible
My wife Catherine "Cat" Waldron, age 44, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Virginia from a rapid onset of complications after a recent diagnosis of Metastatic Colon Cancer. Along with the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and varied communities (both online & in-person) that have been such a huge part of our lives, I've been asked a handful of times where to donate in her memory.
I've decided to choose the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (https://colorectalcancer.org/) as what I'd like you to support if you so desire, and I've created this fundraiser to do so if you wish to do it here.

In her youth, she was devoted to ministry in The Salvation Army, serving the Lord through her musical gifts in singing, sacred dance, and youth counseling. She had a deep passion for traveling, enjoyed playing games, and found joy in cooking. She had a remarkable ability to listen without judgment, offering advice only when needed, and knew exactly when to simply sit with you through life’s hardest moments. She had a unique gift for turning even the simplest moments into unforgettable adventures. She took great pleasure in entertaining others and was a wonderful host. She was unparalleled—whether it was a small gathering or a weekend getaway, she ensured every detail was perfect.
