In Memory of Cecilia Oleas Escalante: Support Her Family

In memory of Anita Cecilia Oleas Escalante,

Cecilia was a great daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt. She was the older sister of a very large family, being a great example for all her siblings. Although life gave her many difficult trials, she always knew how to get ahead for her family, thus proving to be a strong and hardworking woman. Even though it was not easy, she dedicated her life to her children Paulina, Bryan, and Viviana, being a single mother. Sadly her health broke down many years ago, but she continued to fight day by day to help her children. After several years of fighting medical complications, her body could not take it anymore and she passed away on the night of August 1st of this year, after all her organs failed and did not resist.

The public medical system in Ecuador is not the best at the moment, so in desperation to save her mother, her children admitted her to a private hospital where she spent her last weeks fighting for her life. Unfortunately this generated many expenses that her children cannot cover, and adding the funeral expenses, they have been left with a debt of more than $10,000. This is the reason why I have decided to start this fundraiser to help my cousins in this difficult time.
