Cerys Passmore was born in Swansea second daughter to Angela and Edward. At the age of 8 Cerys and her family moved to Canada where she attented Ralston school then onto Webster Niblock, and finally graduating in 2017 from Crescent Heights High School.
Cerys was a funny, confident, intelligent, opinionated, compassionate, and beautiful young woman who made an impression on everyone she met. Mature beyond her years, friends and family always asked her for advice when they felt they had nowhere else to go. Cerys was passionate about animals and their well being, hence becoming a vegetarian a few years ago. Cerys loved her puppy Jacob so much. Cerys spent much of her free time at the SPCA visiting all the dogs, showing pictures of all the ones she wanted to adopt!!! Cerys was always someone you could count on, her family was very proud with her values and achievements. Cerys was also known for her love of the mountains, many memories were made their along with friends and family. Cerys was also known for her unique dress sense and loved to shop. Cerys plans were to travel and discover new places and cultures and see all the ``wow`` places in the world. Following graduation this year Cerys went on a short vacation to the Dominican with her friends. She then became a responsible member of society by simply taking a job. In the 6 weeks that Cerys worked at the Clarion Hotel, she impressed them with her work ethic and pride she took in her work. Cerys also kept her part time job at Pharmasave, she wouldn`t leave that job as the people there were like family and she didn`t want to let them down. On Monday September 11 th 2017 Cerys was taken tragically and senselessly from her family and friends. Still in shock and disbelief her family are left to pick up the many shattered pieces that was left behind from this tragedy. Cerys will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She leaves behind her mother Angela, father Edward, sister Lara. Grandad Allan, aunty Bethan, along with her uncle Chris, aunt Jane and cousin Addy. Cerys also leaves behind her grandparents Ann and John Passmore and all of her family and friends in the UK. Achieving so much and touching so many lives Cerys family can only dream of what she might have been if she had only been given the chance!!!!
The family of Cerys would like to thank all of those in the community and across the world who have given them support. They explain their loss as "a nightmare that they can't seem to wake from." Moneys raised from this go fund me account will go directly to the Passmore family to help them in whatever manner they choose.
