In Memory of Charlene R Love

Hello my name is Cynthia and I live in Pennsylvania. Both my sister Charlene and I were born and raised in the Steel City.

Charlene moved to California in the mid 70s to pursue her dream in writing and entertainment production and there is where she co wrote her first screenplay Sin For A Season. Charlene also loved to garden. Planting a wide variety of different color of vegetables that you wouldn't see in your everyday grocery store.

As time moved on, Charlene encountered some hardships, being homeless and health issues. Charlene injured her rotator cuff and that meant a trip to the doctor. Routine testing and blood work was taken. That is when Charlene found out she had stage 4 cancer. Surgery we thought would have removed all of the cancer that was found in her reproductive system but the cancer had broken off in different areas of her mid section and the tumors started to grow.

Charlene had every kind of treatment and medicine imaginable to survive this cancer. She fought long and hard for five years in and out of the hospitals just to live and not die.

Sadly Charlene lost her life to endometrail cancer on Friday December 30 2022 with me singing to her We Are Family by Sister Slege.

Charlene also leaves behind her Support cat named King whom I will be flying back with to Pennsylvania.

I am raising funds to pay for all of Charlenes unpaid final expenses and to close up her home in California.
