In Memory of Charles Addington

Charles Michael Addington passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2018. His sudden passing is a tragic loss to his family, friends and co-workers.

He studied Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and was a licensed Architect. He worked in various Architectural firms throughout Southern California. He was a Principal and Project Director at Architects Orange where he had been for the last 8 years.

Charles was a creative, humble and caring man who positively impacted and influenced the people around him. He loved the collaborative, creative process and was a mentor to many junior staff members. He was always available to answer questions and was the ultimate professional. He was highly respected by his peers, clients and the city staff members that he worked with daily.

Charles was extremely witty with a dry sense of humor. He was a train enthusiast and had built a 30’ x 10’ raised train platform in his backyard for his train collection. It is amazing! He also loved to camp with his family and had recently returned from a camping trip to Lake Tahoe.

Charles was married to Sharon for 28 years. They met in 1985 at a George Thorogood and Joe Walsh concert and were immediately inseparable. They have 2 daughters: Emily and Olivia who both currently attend college.

Please join us in contributing to his family, 100% of the proceeds (less 3% GFM processing fees) from this campaign will go directly to Charles’s family. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
