In Memory of Chef Lupe Yening Liang of Hop Woo
Donation protected
It is with great sadness for us to say my dad, Chef “Lupe” Yening Liang, has passed away. He always did his best to provide for his wife, daughters, family, friends, & community. We miss him so much but hope he’s at peace & having tea with his late parents and brothers. We have lost a legend but hope to keep his legacy alive through his food & Hop Woo.
We’ve started a GoFundMe to help with his arrangements. Anything would be appreciated. Even if it’s just having a meal at Hop Woo. Thank you.
With very heavy hearts,
Judy, Kelly, & Mary
Judy will keep Hop Woo going until we find the right buyer or she’s ready to retire. Please continue to support us in Chinatown
