In Memory of Chito Martinez: Aid for His Family

My name is Ray. It is with great sadness that I reach out to all of you with the news that a dear friend of mine, as well as some of you has passed away. Chito Martinez died at his home on Sunday, April 20, 2025, after a series of hospitalizations in the recent weeks. Friends and family had prayed he would recover as he had in the past, but he did not.

Anyone who knew him well could tell you that he was a great friend who would give you the shirt off his back, or help you with anything he could. He left this world at the age of 59, leaving behind a widow of some 14 years, his mother, a stepfather who loved him as his own son, two sons and a daughter from a previous marriage, two step sons, siblings, and other relatives.

I have started this gofundme to help his widow with funeral and other expenses she will incur in the immediate future. I ask that you search your heart for anything you can provide. Even prayers for God's peace. It will bring great comfort in knowing that it will be one less thing she will have to deal with.
