In Memory of Chris: Aid for Sarah and Family

Never did we think we would ever have to start a fundraiser in honor for one of our friends, but here we are and his family needs all the help they can get.

Chris was on his way to work the morning of August 22nd 2024 when an unfortunate incident had happened and he was shot and killed at 9:38 am. Due to an ongoing investigation we cannot share anymore details at this time.

What I can tell you is that Chris was a kind caring man. He loved helping his friends and was known to rescue dogs from awful situations. Because of his kind heart, Sarah and him have five dogs because he could never say no to an animal in need. He constantly thought of others, often would randomly stop at my house and bring random gifts for our toddler. The Saturday before he died, there was a minor altercation between friends and Chris put a stop to it by calming both parties down before a fight broke out. He was a gentle giant and you couldn’t help but listen to him because he had these great big bear hugs that could make anyone feel special. Chris stopped weekly at my husband shop just to ask if my husband needed anything. He always talked to him, helping my husband during stressful situations. Chris used to take one of friends to his chemo treatments, he used humor to help him get through cancer. He always pushed his own needs aside so he could to help others.

I don’t know why his life had to be taken that day. He has overcame many obstacles, including a triple bypass that almost ended his life at just 39 years old. He pushed through, He always pushed through any difficult situation. He was a fighter, a husband, a father, a son, and a damn good friend. WE will push through for him, because he would do the same.

Sarah has a long road ahead of her. She has funeral expenses, Chris healthcare bills, and now lawyer fees to seek justice for her husband.
