In Memory of Chris Ott: Your Support Needed
Donation protected
So, this is extremely difficult for me to write and about a million times more difficult to experience in real time. As most of you probably know, my husband, Chris Ott, succumbed to a severe stroke that resulted in significant bleeding in the brain. All interventions done by his medical team were ultimately futile. I’m having a hard time dealing with this. As you all can imagine, this is probably the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life, which is saying a lot. Chris was my rock and someone who had my back through thick and thin. I feel like I’ve lost all of my limbs.
Chris was a wonderful human being who loved his family and friends. He would give the shirt off his back, even to a stranger. He was never one to let a struggling human being go unnoticed and stepped up whenever he could to provide a helping hand. Many of you met Chris through the Cobra Kai fandom, and even if he had never met you guys in person, you were like family to him. He loved making people laugh through his hilarious and often ridiculous memes on social media, always willing to poke fun at himself and others in a kind-hearted way. His kindness, generosity, love, and silliness will be missed by all.
Chris was also the one who worked and took care of us financially. On top of the emotions I’ve had to deal with, the financial burden has been weighing down on me like a boulder. I don’t like asking for help, but I have no options now. I am asking for donations to help with Chris’ final expenses, as I will have him cremated. Also, I can undoubtedly use assistance with traveling back and forth from the hospitals and other obligations that life throws at us. Any amount of assistance will be a great help and highly appreciated. Thank you all for the love and support you have already shown Chris and me, and thank you in advance for your generosity. If you are unable to donate fiscally, which I understand entirely, then a simple sharing of this fundraiser page will be a big help. I love all of you from the bottom of my heart, and I promise that your generosity does not go unnoticed.
