In Memory of Chris Terranova: Family Support
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news of the passing of Chris Terranova, the beloved father of Amy's three children. Chris was a kind and gentle soul who deeply cherished his family, his children, and his passions for art and music. I had the privilege of knowing him personally and can attest to his warmth and compassion.
Life can be unpredictable, and never in a million years did I think we would lose Chris, a man I respected and admired profoundly. This loss comes as a shock, to us all.
Finding the right words is challenging in such painful circumstances, but I want to honor the 19 years I knew Chris. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, a true friend to his neighbors, who often entertained his family with music during their gatherings. He had a special bond with his 3 daughters, often singing to them, and Amy adored him for the love and joy he brought into their lives.
Chris was a strong man with a loving heart, affectionately nicknamed “Cupcake” for his sweetness and tenderness. He would defend his family fiercely, and it will take time for them to process this profound loss. In light of this, I am reaching out to those who knew Chris and the family to ask for donations to help cover the burial expenses. Sadly, he recently lost his job, which meant he no longer had access to any benefits that could have assisted with these costs.
Amy is heartbroken, having lost her best friend, and I cannot begin to fathom the grief of Chris’s mother, who has lost her only child. Chris’s children adored him; he was immensely proud of his son for joining the Air Force and celebrated his daughters for becoming remarkable young women. I take comfort in knowing that Chris will be watching over his family from above, cheering them on every step of the way.
As we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, it’s essential that we come together to support Amy and her children, who are facing not only the emotional toll of losing Chris but also the unexpected financial challenges that accompany such a loss.
In honor of his memory, i encourage everyone to share their favorite stories or memories of Chris. Whether it was his infectious laughter during family gatherings or his ability to uplift someone with a simple song, these moments can bring solace to those who are mourning.
To facilitate contributions for the burial expenses, we have set up a donation page where anyone can lend a hand, no matter how big or small. Every bit helps, and your generosity will ensure that Chris receives the dignified farewell he deserves.
As we remember Chris, let's also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. His love for music and art was not just a hobby but a way of connecting with those around him.
Together, we can honor Chris's spirit by embracing the values he embodied: kindness, generosity, and the love of family. Please keep Amy and her children any his sweet mother Mary in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time. Thank you for your support, and I will continue to provide updates as we move forward.
The Celebration of Life for Chris Terranova will be held on Saturday August 24th at 3 pm at Crosspoint Church. 204 SW 11th Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33991
“Our children thought it would be fun if people wanted to wear "stupid saying" shirts like their dad did. Definitely not required though. “
