In memory of Christine & Janvi: help their siblings heal
Donation protected
On November 16, 2024, our family was struck by an unimaginable tragedy. Christine, our beloved sister, and our little brother, Janvi, along with two other victims and their three dogs, were taken from us in a senseless act of gun violence. The loss is overwhelming, and the pain of their absence is something we are struggling to bear every day.
Christine was a loving sister and a funny, vibrant, and deeply caring friend. She was loved by many for her infectious laughter, generosity, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She lit up any room she entered and always knew how to make others smile, even on the toughest days. Christine was a source of strength for everyone around her, especially for our younger siblings, Dillon and Tahnya. As their legal guardian, she devoted her life to raising them in a loving, stable home.
Janvi was a bright and successful young man with a future full of promise. He graduated as a valedictorian of his high school class and was already making his mark on the world. He was caring, funny, and loving—the life of the room and full of energy. More than that, Janvi was an incredible listener, always there when someone needed to talk things through. His kindness, intelligence, and sense of humor left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. To Dillon and Tahnya, he was a special soul; someone they looked up to and could count on. Now, with both Christine and Janvi gone, Dillon and Tahnya are left without their protector and guiding force.
While Dillon and Tahnya were physically unharmed in this horrific event, the emotional and psychological toll on them is immeasurable. They need all the support we can offer as they cope with the loss of their sister and brother, and try to rebuild their lives in the wake of this tragedy.
How you can help:
We ask for donations to cover funeral expenses for Christine and Janvi and to provide ongoing financial support for Dillon and Tahnya as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to the children to support their immediate needs, grief support, and future care. Your generosity will provide stability and hope as they heal from this heartbreaking loss.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support. We are so grateful for every donation and every kind word.
