In Memory of Christopher Allen: Support His Loved Ones

Hello everyone,

My name is Catherine, and I am the youngest cousin of Christopher Allen. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the devastating loss my family experienced in the early hours of December 10, 2024.

After attending a holiday party for the Old Key Lime House in Lantana, FL, my cousin Christopher and some of his co-workers went to an Irish pub in Lake Worth to play pool. Tragically, a heinous act of gunfire occurred in the establishment resulting in four people being shot. Two of them, including my beloved cousin Christopher, lost their lives at the scene and two are recovering from their injuries. — UPDATE: As of 12/28/24 we received heart shattering news that the other individual injured at the scene Reggie has now passed. Our hearts are with his family during this time

Our hearts are shattered, not only for the loss of Christopher but for all the victims, their families, and friends affected by this senseless act of violence. We extend our deepest condolences to everyone impacted, including the Old Key Lime House community. May God grant us all strength, comfort, and healing during this incredibly painful time.

Christopher was truly one of a kind. Anyone who knew him could tell you how his presence could light up a room. He was loving, kind, full of joy, and always ready to make you laugh—a true comedian. His loss leaves an unfillable void. He is survived by his mother, Karen, and his two brothers, Scott and Tyler, who are now faced with the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye far too soon.

I have created this GoFundMe to help provide relief for my aunt and family during this time of profound grief. This is not something any family can ever prepare for, and no mother should have to face the heartbreak of losing her child while also dealing with the overwhelming responsibilities and expenses that come with such a tragedy. My goal is to help ease some of this burden so that my family can focus on mourning and honoring Christopher’s memory.
