In Memory of Christopher Tabaczuk

Christopher Tabaczuk passed away on August 4th, 2023 at the age of 60 after a progressive battle with Inclusion Body Myositis. Chris leaves behind the love of his life of over 40 years, Coreen, 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. The last 6 months have been a battle of the unknown as Chris fought for his life with a rare disease that many doctors had no answers for. Chris suffered a life-threatening pulmonary embolism and three rounds of pneumonia during his sixty-day hospital stay.

Coreen devoted herself each day to being side by side with Chris at the hospital for the last months of his life. She watched her lifelong partner diminish and weaken right before her eyes. Cory had taken on the role of full-time caregiver to assist her beloved Chris and helped him fight to stay alive. Chris set a goal to go home in hospice care, which he achieved on July 25th. In the end, the disease was much stronger and Chris passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Even though Cory remained strong beside Chris throughout the battle of the inevitable, nothing prepared her for the immense feeling of loss and sorrow. Please keep Cory and her family in your prayers as they grieve their heartbreaking loss.
