In Memory Of Cody Stannard

Today, February 27th, Cody would have turned 28 years old, but instead of celebrating with him, we mourn his tragic passing just 3 days ago. In his short time on this earth, Cody touched the lives of many, including his family, friends, teammates, and coaches over the years of playing lacrosse and hockey. Cody was an integral member of the Elora Mohawks, Fergus Thistles, Crude, and Team Ontario Lacrosse as well as Guelph Storm AAA Hockey. His dedication and talent formed a vital part of the teams' successes. In our close-knit community, we’ve always stood by each others sides, whether battling it out on the ice, supporting one another on the floor, or rallying together in times of need. So many who loved Cody and his family have reached out to me wanting to know how they can help. As expressions of sympathy, please consider donating to this Go Fund Me set up in Cody’s honour. All contributions will go directory to his family to help with the sudden and unexpected expenses. A Celebration Of Life will be organized at a later date.
