In Memory of Cole James
This is an appeal to provide financial support to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
In September 2018 my Dad, Cole James was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer). It was a two-year battle consisting of tumour removals, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Sadly, in August 2020 he passed away.
Dad put up such a brave fight until the very end. His strength and character throughout it all was unprecedented. He lit up every room he entered; you would always know he was there from his jokester ways and infectious laugh. It was contagious and you couldn't help but be drawn to it.
I've never seen a man be so brave and strong in such a difficult situation. Even in those dark times, his first and only priority was always his family. I am eternally grateful for the time I had with him, and to have him as a father is and always will be the greatest privilege I have ever been given.
The five-year survival rate for brain cancer is only 22%, and for Glioblastoma, only 5%.
Around 1896 people are diagnosed with brain cancer each year and approximately 1528 die each year.
These are terrible and heartbreaking outcomes and we want to do everything we can to support the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and help find a cure!
TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit) with the James’ family are coming together to raise funds for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and in support are asking you to go grey in May!
