In Memory of Curtis Grays: Support His Family
Donation protected
Coming from a loving family, we are the wife (Jocelynn) and daughter (Kayla) of a wonderful man Curtis Grays. We really appreciate you taking a moment to read his story.
Curtis was a caring, strong and loving husband, father, family and friend. When you see him you can feel the presence of a man that loves and protects his family. His smile, his laugh will make any day a wonderful day. Curtis was living with diabetes and began to having extreme pain in his side so he went to the emergency to check on his health. I am jocelynn Every hour my husband made sure to call me updating me on what was going on. Hours went by and no call came something did not feel right so I called him and a nurse answered and told me to get there right a way. I’ve never moved so quickly, walking to where my husband was they had the 2 double doors of the surgery open and there he payed arms dangling down. All I can think in that moment is my husband, my husband I thought he was gone. The doctor reassured me that he coded but they brought him back. He was there from Monday to Friday fighting. Coding again Tuesday while doctors did everything they could. We eventually found out he had pneumonia his health quickly declined from there causing him to have Kidney failure, liver failure, lower heart rate, fluid and bruising to the brain, and loss of blood circulation to his body. Friday I’d never forget I was laying next to him in that hospital in a deep sleep and the doctor shook me awake I couldn’t gather my thoughts quick enough to understand that my husband was coding again. I instantly called his mom and daughter letting them know what was going on and that they needed to get to the hospital immediately. Once everyone got there we all was praying and spreading our love all over him. The doctor wanting him to wake up while the machine breathing for him before they could take him off to try to breathe on his on he coded again with his mom by his side and we came running praying for him to fight and that day that day we lost the most important, loving, strongest man we know.
Any money donated will be used towards the family and needs for Curtis.
Any amount you’re willing to contribute is greatly appreciated, and if you aren’t able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
