In Memory of Cynthia Morales

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Cynthia Morales, born August 12, 1957, and passing on August 8, 2024 just a few days before her 67th birthday.

Our mother was a woman of incredible depth and complexity. She was known for her great sense of humor, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and comfort, where she would cook amazing meals and loved nothing more than to feed those she cared for. She loved to dance, finding joy in the rhythm and movement that brought her closer to her roots and to those around her. A Bronx native, who carried the strength and resilience of the city within her, along with a love for her community and her faith.

She was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter, a aunt, a friend and a wife. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, often spoiling them with treats and slipping them a $20 whenever she could. She took pride in having her nails done and wearing lipstick, small gestures that made her feel beautiful and loved. Though she had her struggles and other health issues, she fought hard to be present the best way she knew how.

Our mother had her battles. She was a woman who yearned to be loved, even when it was difficult for her to accept it. Despite these challenges, we loved her deeply, and we know she loved us in her own way.

As her children, we are now faced with the responsibility of honoring her life and memory through a proper memorial service and funeral arrangements. Unfortunately, due to her mental instability, many important documents, including her life insurance policy, were not maintained. This has left us in a difficult position, and we are humbly asking for your support during this challenging time.

We are seeking donations to help cover the costs of her funeral and memorial service. Any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. Your generosity would allow us to give our mother the farewell she deserves—a chance to honor her life, her struggles, and the love she shared with us all.

If you are able to contribute, please know that your kindness will forever be remembered by our family. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance you can provide during this time of grief.

With gratitude and love,
Misha and Fam
