In Memory of David Pemberton
Donation protected
On January 13th, my dad was killed in a head on collision with a driver fleeing from the police. We are absolutely devastated by the loss. He was only 56 years old, and had just moved out to Arkansas to take care of his mom (my Grammie) and had found so much happiness and fulfillment. He was happier than we’ve seen him in a long time. It feels so unfair to have him taken from us far too soon, in the blink of an eye.
We are trying to grieve and bring the family together to honor his memory, but we know there are practical arrangements and expenses to be organized.
He wished to be buried, so we are trying to now shoulder the expenses of a casket, transportation and burial. This is an unexpected cost that none of us ever dreamed of having to plan for so soon. And we do not want to put an undue stress on Grammie, so we’d like to handle all of this so they don’t have to, but we need help.
If you would like to donate and are able, we would be so thankful. Anything helps! I believe in the healing power of community, and the supportive words we’ve received are getting us all by right now.
Thank you in advance whether you can donate, share or send kind words of support—it means a lot!
And please, hug your loved ones, tell them you love them. Call your dad <3
