In Memory of Deborah (Debee) Xing

Our beloved angel, Debee Xing, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, after her long and tough battle against depression ever since she lost her mom to cancer seven years ago. She just turned 19 and started her sophomore year at Georgia State University. She graduated from Alpharetta High in 2022.

Debee had been bravely battling through her mental illness through the years. She had seen psychiatrists and counselors untold number of times and sought help from all available resources as she was determined to win the battle. Her situation deteriorated in the pandemic and then went up and down. She fought hard but she finally succumbed to this terrible disease.

Debee had dedicatedly served at her home church - Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North in many different capacities, such as youth worship team, VBS, and youth ministry. Especially during VBS, she not only served the children but also leveraged her talents to produce the awesome VBS recap video.

She loved and cared for her friends. She often surprised her friends with her hand-made gifts. Her hallmark crafts were adorable crochet goodies, such as hats and dolls. Debee's laugh was so infectious, and she loved telling funny stories. She also always wrote letters to her close friends to share her candid thoughts as well as thank them for their precious friendship plus heartfelt support. Debee, actually, planned to take Psychology major next semester so she could help others with similar mental health challenges.

Debee was bestowed with multiple amazing talents in arts and music. She was a quick learner and able to pick up a new talent all on her own. She taught herself guitar and played it in the youth worship team. Her movie-making and video editing were very impressive. Debee also loved sports. She played hockey in the local team. Her stunts on trampoline and even air flips on the ground were simply phenomenal!

Debee is survived by her dad Jianjun and younger sister Gracie. Her family loves her deeply and has walked alongside her throughout her special journey. Now, while grieving their heartbreaking loss, her family is in great need of financial support to cover the heavy costs of memorial service and burial. ANY amount is welcome and would mean a lot to this family!!! Huge thanks in advance for your condolences, prayers, and donations!!!

她熱愛並關心她的朋友。 常用親手製作的禮物帶給朋友们驚喜。 她的標誌性工藝品是可愛的鉤針編織品，例如帽子和娃娃。 Debee的笑聲很有感染力，她喜歡講有趣的故事。 她也常常寫信給好友，傾訴自己的心聲，感謝他們寶貴的友誼和衷心支持。 Debee已经計劃在下學期主修心理學，這樣她就可以幫助其他面臨類似心理健康挑戰的人。

Debee在藝術和音樂方面具有多種驚人的天賦。 她學得很快，能夠憑一己之力掌握新的才能。 她自學吉他並在青年崇拜隊中演奏。 她的電影製作和視頻編輯令人印象深刻。 Debee也熱愛運動。 她在當地球隊打冰球。 她在彈跳床上的特技，甚至在地面上的後空翻，簡直是完美！

Debee身後留下了她的父親剑君和妹妹Gracie。 她的家人深愛著她，並在她特殊的旅程中與她同行。 現在，她的家人在悲痛欲絕的同時，也急需經濟支持來支付追思礼拜和葬禮的巨額費用。 任何金額都是受歡迎的，這對這個家庭來說意義重大！ 非常感謝您的哀悼、祈禱和捐助！
