In Memory of Deputy Darren Parker
Donation protected
On Tuesday, February 22nd, one of our own, Deputy Darren Leigh Parker, unexpectantly passed away at the age of 51.
Deputy Parker joined the Army in 1989, serving during Operation Desert Storm. He was a firefighter for Roanoke (Virginia) Fire & EMS for 20 years. In 2014, Deputy Parker started his Law Enforcement career at the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, where he was an exceptional asset to our department and community. He was studying for his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
He loved his family and was very proud of all of their accomplishments. He is survived by his wife, Tracie, and children, Alani, Kenneth, Sydney Ryann, Darien and Bryan, and three grandchildren.
Darren was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the song "Paradise" by Coldplay. He was kind, polite and genuinely an all-around great person. He always made his coworkers laugh and made everyone's day better.
Please help us support the Parker Family by donating if you are able.
