In Memory of De'Shawn: A Community United

In loving memory of our sweet De'Shawn.

De'Shawn Elliot-Carr was born January 1, 2007. He passed on Thursday, March 6, 2025, due to complications with pneumonia. He attended Gridley Middle School from 2019-2022 and was a junior at Sahuaro High School.

De'Shawn was an usher at his church. He loved basketball and was training for it. In school, his favorite subjects were math and art. When he had downtime, he enjoyed playing on his PlayStation. De'Shawn will be sorely missed by his family and the community.

De'Shawn was a young soul, and God needed him more than him being on earth. He is not suffering anymore. His beautiful smile and warm hugs will be missed by all.

De'Shawn's family appreciates all your prayers and warm thoughts filled with wonderful memories. They find themselves in need of financial assistance to cover the costs for the funeral and bills. The date of the service will be announced soon. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.
