St.Elizabeth hospice
Hello!
Firstly I am beyond useless with this sort of thing so bare with ….
Back in June we lost a very special person to my little family to cancer. Diane my wonderful mother in-law who bravely thought the disease for 21 years. She was so brave and never complained. She was genuinely the most kindest, patient and caring person I’ve ever met. She was the most amazing mother and grandmother. Diane adored her children and grandchildren and I’m completely devastated that my boy won’t remember how loved he was by her. For those reasons I feel compelled to do a little something for the wonderful charity who took such great care of her. We’re so grateful to the care she was given and for making it possible to give Di her final wish to go back home one last time.
In memory of this wonderful woman I want to raise as much money as I can for the hospice by running the Eden half marathon in October. It will be my very first half Marathon. Probably a little ambitious with it being so hilly and my current abilities (I run 4-6 miles a week) but I’ll give it my best shot in honour of a truly special woman who is missed and loved so very much and for a cause that’s so close to my heart.
The work they do at St. Elizabeth hospice is just amazing and my family and myself will be forever grateful to them. Any donations no matter how small would mean so much.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Wish me luck!
lots of love
