In memory of Diane Walker

My friend Diane Walker lost her life on Sept 15th from cancer. Over 40 years of her life was dedicated to the book industry. Working at Leishmans for over 31  years, the owner for 16. After this amazing accomplishment she became a manager at indigo books and music. Ending her working career as the general manager at  Propero. Diane's passion and book knowledge was out of this world. She knew absolutely everything about any book and I mean everything. If you were struggling to give a book recommendation, Diane would have 30, who am I kidding she would have 50. She was like a child in a candy store. She oozed excitment everytime someone asked her for a recommendation. 
Indigo aligned with Diane's values. She loved the LOR foundation. A favorite time of year was when she had the opportunity to seek donations to adopt a school. If you knew Diane you would know how truly important it was for her to raise funds for our schools. Putting books into school libraries was something that she took very seriously.  She was so proud of indigo and our customers generosity to make this happen. 

No funeral arrangements have been made for Diane due to covid. 
I want to honour my friend by getting as many donations as possible. So that we can put books into her stores adopt a school. We would  write in the books A gift for you!  In memory of Diane Walker. 

Every little bit counts. Whatever you could do her store team and myself would be grateful.
