Donald Lee Hendrix is my oldest brother
He loved to play sports of any kind he was raised in Cleburne County Alabama in a peaceful town everyone knew everyone
His Jorney was cut short on December 3rd 2024
He was always willing to help others and just thrive in life He has two beautiful sons Jeremiah and Jacob
He is joining one Jeremiah whom he missed daily and took away a part of my brother but he continued to put faith in God and and tried to do better for his youngest Jacob who favors his dad so much Jacob has become his own man starting his family and doing rite and Lee was so proud.
He would tell me he would do better by doing more for Jacob and try to be there for him as much as possible.
Lee has had hard times and tried to make the best of it.
Things get in the way sometimes
He had a bad wreck that nearly killed him but he fought back so he could heal but wasn't able to he was forced to draw his disability at a young age .
But he managed and kept going.
And then Two years ago he climbed a ladder and fell cracking his pelvic and in the same week almost lost his sister with congestive heart failure
And we did in the same week lose our beloved baby brother Geral Allen AKA
Bucky that took a little more from all of us.
Lee struggled to come back and heal but could only do little
As he got older this has taken a toll on him the pain would hold him down but Lee was a fighter and he kept pushing he knew he couldn't do this any longer so he came to me and between the both of us he had family to help him thru I could see that lonely look start to fade as we become closer talking everyday having someone beside you makes things so much easier
But the last week I could see the pain in his face he was getting tired he would visit more and I got to hang out with him.
Two days passed haven't heard from him thought he was trying to make some money to help us even thou
He needed that as much for himself he didn't complain for once again he was helping out.
I can't go into what happen but his life was taken before his time and once again we are morning a brother whom we loved very much
He had no buriel insurance so it's been difficult to lay him to rest.
So iam asking all family and friends to please help as much as possible so we can lay him to rest.
Say a prayer tell a story about him to make us all laugh during this time of grief remember the good times and always visit family and tell them you love them
Thank You so very much
