怀念苗闯博士 In memory of Dr. Chuang Miao

Dr. Chuang Miao passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2022, leaving his family and friends heartbroken. As a scientist and an innovator, Dr. Miao had made great success in his short but brilliant career. He was a man with a rich sense of justice and compassion, who always inspired and motivated others to the best. He had been helping and mentoring students from poverty areas in China for years.
As his colleagues and friends, we are deeply saddened by losing a trustworthy, caring and loyal partner and friend. We are starting this fundraiser to honor his life by funding memorial events and helping his family. Part of the fund raised will go to events in memory of Dr. Miao, and the rest will be passed directly to his family. Thank you!
苗闯博士于5月25日不幸英年早逝，我们痛惜失去了这样一位年轻有为的青年科学家和好朋友，苗博士生前极具开拓创新精神，取得了很高的学术成就和重大技术创新成果，他为人富有正义感和爱心，给周围人带去了很多正能量和激励，并且多年来他一直在资助贫困学生，对于他的许多朋友来说，他已成为大家生命中宝贵的一部分。
苗闯是他父母唯一的儿子，白发人送黑发人，人世间的悲痛莫过于此，二老年事已高，他们唯一的儿子的突然离世不仅给了二老精神上沉重的打击，也让对二老的赡养变成了他无法尽到的孝道和永远的遗憾。苗闯的妻子与他一路相伴，相濡以沫，夫妻感情极深，如今永失挚爱，正是人生最艰难的时刻。
我们代表苗闯博士在美国求学和工作期间的老师、同学、同事及朋友们发起此次募捐，在此平台所筹捐款一部分将用于举办对苗闯博士的纪念活动，剩余部分将转交给他的家人，衷心感谢您的支持！
