In Memory of Duke Tran

On Friday, January 21st, 2022, at 12:16am, Duke Tran passed away, due to complications related to Type IV bile duct cancer that he had been struggling with for the past year. Cholangiocarcinoma is one of the rarest and currently least treatable forms of cancer known. Despite this, he fought as long as he could and kept his spirits high until the very end.
He has left behind a legacy of good memories of a devoted father, partner, and friend, hard work and struggles as an Vietnamese immigrant and refugee of the War, and a loving family, survived by his wife Thuy Tran, and daughters Sarah and Linda Tran.
Because of the sudden nature of his passing, as well as the steep costs related to attempting to treat his cancer diagnosis up until his recent hospital admission, including travel expenses, hospital fees, and now funeral arrangements, we ask, on behalf of the Tran family, to please share and donate as much as you are able to to help with this tragic and unprepared loss.
