In memory of Dustin Wade Wilson (Dusty)

My name is Andrew Vaughn, and I am a long time friend of Dustin’s. Dustin was known and loved by many people around the world and I believe he is one of those people who truly lived life to its fullest! Dustin was an all or nothing kind of a person.

Whether he was catching waves off the West Coast, building/managing construction sites, possessing the ability to make friends with anybody anywhere or mixing audio around the globe as a world-class engineer, Dustin touched people from all walks of life.

Dustin passed away on February 17, 2024 and in the weeks prior was surrounded with visits from close friends and family. He knew that he was loved and I know that he was at peace with God. He will surely be missed!

We are raising money to help his Mother (Mama Joan) and his sister Dawn with the arrangements and to honor his life. All funds will go to his Mother.

Plans for a celebration of his life are underway and will be announced soon and held in the greater Richmond Virginia area.

May we all go forward today and make a decision in honor of Dustin by having one more conversation with someone we don’t know, encouraging someone who needs it, telling those close to you that you love them or taking the difficult road of forgiveness. True Love often presents itself in ways we don’t expect but we all have a choice on how to respond when it does show up. Dustin would be honored if he knew we were all continuing to better humanity because of his inspiration! Thank you all for your support. Dustin always ended his phone calls with one word…….’Love’
