In Memory of Eddie Tarbox

My name is Nicola and I am fundraising in memory of my father-in-law Albert Edward Tarbox known to everyone who knew & loved him as Eddie.

Eddie sadly passed away on the 16th April 2022 at Pathfield’s Lodge, Rushden where he lived since 2014. Eddie was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia in 2012 & moved to Rushden from his home town of Studham, Bedfordshire shortly afterwards.

Eddie was a real character & all the staff & residents loved him. Despite his decline in health over the years he would regularly tap his feet to the music even when he looked asleep & always enjoyed the regular entertainment that visited the home. He always kept the staff on their toes & loved a good party!

As a family we would like to raise funds for two groups of people in his memory. These being the young members of Studham Cricket Club, where he had played since the age of 14 & was a Lifetime Honorary Member as well as his friends, the residents at Pathfield’s Lodge.

The funeral will take place 11am at Nene Valley Crematorium, Wellingborough on Thursday 5th May 2022 & afterwards at Grendon Lakes, NN7 1JW
