In Memory of Elbert Harris: Support His Loved Ones

Sgt. Elbert Harris passed away suddenly on July 14, 2024.

Due to his unexpected passing, we hope that his family, friends, and co-workers, can come together to raise funds to alleviate some of the financial weight his family is currently experiencing.

Sgt. Elbert S. Harris 4th, passed away at the young age of 39. He started his career in corrections in 2005. He spent most of his career working in Baltimore City at BCDC and MRDCC. In 2023 he transferred to the K-9 Unit. He had completed two academies and had a narcotic detection dog (Scooby) and a patrol dog (Mojo) which he cared about very much.

Harris' laugh and funny nature will be missed by everyone. His sudden departure will forever leave a void in our unit and our thoughts are with his family, friends and co-workers, during this difficult time.
