In Memory of Elvin Hernandez

With the permission of his family, it is with very heavy hearts that we share with you that on the evening of Saturday, December 5th, 2020, Elvin was called back home. 

Elvin Hernandez was an amazing man way beyond what any words here could ever express. He was a great son, brother, uncle and best friend.
After many months of battling the after-effects of Covid-19 Elvin could not continue the fight. And believe it when we say he fought a good one. Unfortunately like so many others it was much more than what he could handle. 

Those who knew or ever met him could agree that his humor was infectious. He'd turn everything into a joke you couldn't help but laugh at. And not just any laugh but the type of laugh that would make your belly hurt and nearly pee yourself.
He'd make every car ride the craziest and silliest "car-pool karaoke" session. Literally blasting a song past the point of deafening and singing along at the top of his lungs, literally to any song! Then yell out "Ay mama y quien me patrocina?"... translation "Oh mama and who sponsors me?" lol. 

Better yet one of my favorite memories... prepare yourself to hear a grown man agree to blast Baby Shark after midnight while on random late night drives around Queens for pupusas or Washington Heights for chimis.

I'm sure if we were to ask everyone who knew him to describe all the incredible things about him, we'd conclude that there aren't enough days in the year or hours in the day to finish telling each story. Elvin was truly one-of-a-kind!

Now unfortunately due to circumstances and limited time, we'd like to ask you to please find it within your hearts to please help us with his final arrangements. We're sure you've all heard many say "anything helps", but the truth is anything does genuinely help. Any donation big or small is appreciated.
