In memory of Emilia Watson

Emilia's Story

On a very cold and snowy Monday morning on 5th April 2021, our beautiful little daughter Emilia Watson was born at 7:22am. Sadly, due to complications during birth, Emilia left us very soon after her arrival into the world. We are so very proud to be her parents and she will always live on in our memories and hearts.

The Lily Mae Foundation

The Lily Mae Foundation provides a support network to bereaved parents following the loss of a baby, memory boxes for families to help create special memories, training and support for midwives and other health and social care professionals, and research into what can be done to help prevent the loss of a baby in the future.

Fundraising

As a family, we are taking part in a number of activities this year, to help raise money for The Lily Mae Foundation. Our aim is to raise enough money to purchase a Cuddle Cot to be gifted to a local maternity unit, as well as 10 memory boxes. 

These include the following;

• The Offchurch Wolf Run - Kirri & Chris
• Lily Mae Foundation vs Sands Football match - Chris
• #10TEN10 Challenge - Chris

**UPDATE: thank you to those that helped us to reach our initial target. We have increased our target as we would like to be able to purchase another Cuddle Cot and fund 1:1 support sessions.
