In memory of Eric Kunkle- support his funeral and son Kyle

Dear family and friends of Eric Kunkle,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Eric's passing on January 16.

I invite you to join me in raising funds to support his son, Kyle, during this difficult time. Kyle has been Eric’s primary caregiver throughout his final phase of life, dedicating himself fully to his father’s care. This responsibility has left him facing financial challenges, particularly regarding the funeral costs, as well as the need to transition into a new career.

Twenty years ago, Eric suffered a terrible auto accident that left him wheelchair-bound, but that did not define him. He led a rich and fulfilling life, surrounded by friends and family. He loved watching TV sports and even managed a Fantasy Sports League for his friends. Just a week ago, our friends Nick Larson and Bill Indreboe visited to enjoy several NFL games with him. Eric cherished his annual trips to Georgia to reunite with lifelong friends from high school. Throughout it all, he fought to enjoy every moment with his son, Kyle. Eric lived most of his adult life in the Sacramento, California area, where he particularly loved spending time fishing in the Sacramento River.

Eric was not only a remarkable friend but one of the strongest individuals I have ever known.
