In Memory of Fou Saephanh
Donation protected
On behalf of the Saephanh family, I announce the passing of Fou Tim Saephanh. Fou passed peacefully surrounded by all of his loved ones on Monday 8/14/23. Fou was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Fou was born on 6/6/55 in Laos. Fou met his wife, Tracy in Laos where they began to grow their beautiful family. Fou and Tracy travelled to America in February 1981 with their two oldest children seeking refuge from the wartime. They started their new beginnings in Pomona, CA and settled in the central valley to be closer to family. Fou enjoyed his free time hunting and had a passion for farming which grew into their successful business, which provided for their family. Upon entering early retirement from the laborous hours, he spent his time caring for his grandchildren and great grandson. His family was his pride and joy and his love radiates through all of his loved ones.
Fou’s health started to drastically decline in the early 2010s. He has spent the last couple of years battling various health conditions and was diagonsed with cancer in 2021. He conquered his cancer diagnosis in 2022 but unfortnately it returned this year and came back stronger. He fought a long hard battle but in the end it was not enough and lost his battle with cancer.
In the Mein culture they honor the passing of their loved ones with a 3 day long ceremony. Guests are welcome to visit the home this weekend and the traditional mein ceremony will begin Thursday 8/24 and conclude Saturday evening. The address for the home is 1767 Southlawn Dr Ceres, CA 95307.
Our family is still processing the loss of Fou’s youngest daughter, Manh, just four months ago and now we must prepare to say our final goodbyes to the patriarch of the family. We appreciate the love and generosity that has been shown while they navigate through these difficult times. You may support the family in whatever way you are able; whether it is donating directly to the GoFundMe page, making a donation to the home or by simply sharing the page.
