In Loving Memory of Frank Rygiel

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Frank Zbigniew Rygiel, departed us on October 27th, 2020. Frank's tragic diagnosis with stage 4 pancreatic cancer came as a shock to all those who loved him and knew him. His 8 month long battle with this disease was courageous, yet, highly painful as he endured hopeless experimental treatment, during the COVID-19 crisis, in complete isolation from the closest family and friends on the Canadian side of the border. He passed away at the Buffalo Hospice, just 3 days after his 71st birthday. 

In loving memory of Frank Rygiel, the family is accepting donations from those friends and family members who are attending the funeral and wish to make a donation, or those who have known Frank and wish to contribute to the family's cause. A portion of the money will be used to cover numerous outstanding medical bills from his battle with pancreatic cancer in the United States. A secondary portion of your donations will be donated to Hospice Buffalo, which provided extraordinary care during his final 10 days of life.
