Donation protected
On December 26, 2020, Dr. Roberto Ruiz tragically lost his life after battling COVID-19 for 16 days in the ICU. He was a true frontline hero who found his gift of healing and continued to share this gift with others every single day. His bravery and sacrifice during the COVID-19 pandemic will always be remembered and we are eternally grateful for his service.
Dr. Ruiz is a well-respected Internal Medicine physician who has dedicated his life to healing and caring for those in need for over 30 years. The saying, "It doesn’t feel like work if you love what you do" has never rang more true for Dr. Ruiz. He truly loved what he did and gave his whole heart and attention to treating his patients. He aspired to one day practice medicine alongside his son.
He is survived by his wife Irma, daughter Brenda, two sons Roberto Jr. and Gabriel, and grandson Steven. This GoFundMe serves as a purpose to assist them with funeral costs and easing the financial burden. Any amount helps. We are grateful for the support and appreciate your generosity.
Dr. Roberto Ruiz was loved by many. To commemorate his life, we would love for you to share a favorite memory you have with Dr. Ruiz and how he has impacted your life.
