In memory of Gary Powell

A selfless man.

An incredible father.

Best friend.

An inspiration.

Chosen family.

Those are only a few of the words I've heard and spoken to describe Gary. If you knew him, you can attest to all of it being true. But it doesn't begin to scratch the surface. Therefore you can only imagine the tremendous loss those who mourn him are feeling. Gary passed away unexpectedly on August 17th. My two sons lost their dad, he was only 51.

As if their grief doesn't already feel insurmountable, they are also suffering financially. They have taken on Gary's debt, mortgage, truck payment and caring for his 4 pets in addition to their own car payments, bills, attorney fees and the massive funeral expense. They have been trying their best, but realistically it's unconquerable. I am hoping the money raised from this campaign will help alleviate some of this financial burden.
