With heavy hearts, we gather to honor and remember Gerasimos Spetsieris, who left this world on August 12, 2024. Gerasimos, known to his friends and family as a pillar of strength and kindness, touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

Born in Kefalonia with a heart full of compassion, Gerasimos relocated to Montreal, Quebec. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather to his family. Throughout the years, his love for Kefalonia never diminished and he worked tirelessly through the Kefalonian Brotherhood of Montreal "Aenos" to foster the spirit of his homeland.

Funeral services for Gerasimos will be held on August 20, 2024 at 10am at Evagelismos tis Theotokou Church in Montreal Quebec and his final resting will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery. Visitation will take place on August 19, 2024 at Mount Royal Funeral Complexe in Outremont, Montreal. All who knew him are welcome to join us in honoring his memory and finding comfort in the community he so dearly loved.

Instead of sending flowers, his family has setup this GoFundMe page to collect donations which will be made to the Kefalonian Brotherhood of Montreal for the benefit of the Municipal Hospital of Kefalonia in Gerasimos' name.

Rest in peace, Gerasimos. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
