In memory of Grant Smith

Hi, my name is Terri and I’m writing this on behalf of my sweet cousin, Grant. As those reading this know, Grant passed away on January 5, 2023 after a three year battle with CML, an aggressive form of leukemia. Everyone who knew Grant would describe him the same way - generous, kind, sharply funny, and wickedly smart. He was quiet but not shy; just a great listener and friend who made everyone around him better. Everyone who knew him loved him very much, and is devastated by this loss.

As he was nearing the end of his life, Grant’s greatest worry was for his wife, Rhonda, and their daughter, Emmy; he wanted so badly to see Emmy grow up, and he was understandably concerned about Rhonda and Emmy’s financial stability. No amount of money can bring him back, of course, but I am creating this Go Fund Me in the hopes that we can help Rhonda and Emmy stay in the house that holds all of their happiest memories.

This is a difficult time of year for many people financially, given that Christmas has just passed, so please know that any small amount helps and is deeply appreciated.

We love you, Grant. You will never, ever be forgotten. I hope this helps you rest peacefully.
