In memory of Greg Roche, loving dad, hubby, and friend

Donation protected

Today we lost one of the kindest, most selfless, real, generous and gentle people in our lives.
My name is Beth, and I am a neighbour and family friend of Greg Roche, who succumbed to his fight with cancer this morning. Greg leaves his wife, Ness, son Jack (14) and 3 step kids Eden, Max and Tom.
Greg was an excellent human. He had a tough start to life, and a colourful existence over his 64 years. Despite the trials and challenges life brought him, Greg embodied generosity and love to all who knew him. In the time we were neighbours, his home was the safe place for all the kid's friends. Anyone having a tough time at home was welcome to stay, no questions asked. We actually thought they had 6 kids for a year or so!
Greg lovingly cared for Ness as she faced enormous physical, mental and emotional challenges before being diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder, which often left her unable to speak, re-learning how to move, and bed bound for weeks at a time. He built a beautiful garden to help with her rehabilitation, while caring for young Jack and the challenges of having a neurodiverse child.
Money has never been abundant in their home, but generosity is a standard. Greg and Ness became like grandparents to our 2 boys, spoiling and loving them and us through the difficult early years with small kids.
The funeral is only 1 of the challenges to face Ness and the kids as they adjust to life without Greg, but a tangible one that we would love to help with.
Any donation will help to ease the burden, no matter how large or small. Greg spent his life paying it forward, now is our opportunity to do the same.

Greg, Ness and baby Jack, born at 29 weeks.
