In Memory of Greg Zimmerman

Our colleague Greg Zimmerman unexpectedly passed in his sleep during the early hours of Monday May 25, 2020. Greg is survived by his wife Becky and daughter Emma. This is a devastating loss for Greg’s family, who has endured hardship in recent years.
Greg was part of the Solvay Havre de Grace family since 2013 and many of you have known him for much longer.
The picture posted shows Emma committing to pursuing her tertiary education at ESU on a softball scholarship in Fall 2020. Greg was so proud of her and enthusiastically shared the good news with his coworkers.
His wife Becky, (to the right of Emma), had suffered a severe stroke a few years ago and was not expected to survive. Greg has been her primary caretaker ever since, with his mother and in-laws pitching in to help care for Becky.
In Greg's memory, let us extend support to his wife, daughter and extended family as they try to cope with this terrible loss.
