In memory of Hazel Long, MBE

This fundraiser is in memory of a wonderful lady, Hazel, who recently passed away, aged 86.

Hazel was a lifelong supporter of Woking Football Club, attending initially with her father nearly 80 years ago. Beyond that, she worked innumerable hours as a volunteer - first in a matchday tea bar but then in the club shop for many years. Woking FC was her lifelong passion, and clubs like ours would not survive without people like Hazel.

Outside football Hazel worked in the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall, and upon her retirement she was awarded an MBE for services to both the Civil service and Woking Football Club.

The family have requested that all donations in Hazel's memory go to the charity associated with the club Cardinals in the Community and 100% of monies received will go towards supporting our Ladies' team. Thank you for your generosity in memory of a lovely lady who will not be forgotten
