In memory of Helen Baxter.

We are devastated to hear the news that Helen’s courageous battle against Cancer came to an end on Sunday evening. Helen, Matt and their two boys have been through so much over the last few years but one thing never changed, how kind and happy they always seemed to be.

I have the pleasure of coaching Noah in his U10s football team. He is such a happy and funny young man and a real credit to Helen and Matt. He never fails to make you smile at any training session or game and his energy radiates around the other boys.

I know that Helen adored her boys so much and would always come to support them at football at any opportunity. I know Thomas is progressing really well at Lincoln City Academy and Matt has done and continues to do some great work with children across Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas in their football.

One thing will be different now for those two young men. They won’t have their mum watching on from the sideline but now from up above. Although we cannot change that, we would like to raise some money towards the family to cover Funeral costs and towards some local charities.

I’m sure people would like to join us in donating towards this amazing family as they try to adjust to life without Helen. All proceeds will go to Matt and he will distribute as he wishes.
