Our friend Jennifer's (and our cousin/her fiance Ruben's) daughter passed away this week. It was due to a tragic accident that occurred at her high school. All funds raised will go to supporting her family, funeral, and other memorial needs during this difficult time.
Hope Joyce Jager, age 15, of Normal, IL passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-7:00 PM Monday August 26, 2024, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington IL. Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday August 27, 2024, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington IL. Pastor Charles Ahrens Sr. will be officiating. Private family inurnment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL.
Hope was born August 3, 2009, in Naperville, IL the daughter of Jesse and Jennifer Hanks Jager.

Hope was a sophomore at Normal West High School. Hope excelled in her learning and was involved in the student council and active in “mock trial.” Hope was Jennifer’s “Princess.” She had a special bond with her siblings. She never passed up a good meal and she had to have “dessert.” She loved her cat Simba who had a special place in her heart. She had GREAT love for her family and will be missed by all who knew her,
