In Memory of Ian Macartney

Hello,

I am raising money to participate in The Big Battlefield Bike Ride (BBBR) in June 2023.

All the funds raised are for Help for Heroes charity, which organizes the ride, and in memory of our friend, colleague, and family member Ian Macartney. Ian supported Help for Heroes.

The Big Battlefield Bike Ride (BBBR) is a cycling challenge that combines military history, camaraderie and pedal-powered fundraising in a charity bike ride.

Our BBBR Dunkirk route follows in the footsteps of the British Expeditionary Force and tells the story of Operation Dynamo, when more than 338,000 troops were evacuated from Dunkirk in June 1940.

For over a decade, this charity bike ride has used pedal-power to raise vital funds to give strength to veterans and their families.
