In memory of Ida, let's help!

As many of you know, Ida Ryer passed away this past Saturday. Ida was the glue that held the operations of the Homestead Shooting Club together. Ida served in that capacity for many years and you'd see Ida whenever you'd visit the club or during one of our events. She helped make our Green Jacket event what it was.

Ida's passing has taken everyone by surprise and has left a hole in the tight-knit family of the gun club and many of our lives. Ida's life was not only working at the gun club, as she also cared for her 4 grandchildren, and the hole left in their lives is immense.

The Green Jacket Club would like to raise a gift in memory of Ida, specifically to help care for those grandchildren. This gift will be entrusted to those working with the family as they establish the best structure to use the money as intended.

We want to be able to present an initial amount by October 31, 2022. The needs of these children will be ongoing; once a formal means of gifting is established, we will also share that. (due to such an outpouring of love & concern, we've increased the goal!) We will continue to receive donations after the 31st until there is a formal means of giving made available)
