In Memory of Isaiah Shackleford: Support Needed

In Loving Memory of Isaiah Shackleford:
We are devastated to share that our beloved brother, Isaiah, tragically lost his life while driving home from work on 295 heading to Annapolis during the morning rush hour commute on 11/7/2024. He was shot on the highway driving his car in an unthinkable act of violence that has left our family shattered and heartbroken. After spending time in Shock Trauma ICU, he succumbed to his injuries. The family opted to have his organs donated to help provide hope and healing for other families in need.
Isaiah was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was a kind, gentle, and caring young man. His laugh was one of a kind, loud and contagious, always making you smile with him. At first he was quiet and reserved, but once there trust built he would talk about all his hopes and dreams. He was playful with his nieces, nephew and cousins, always engaging in their choice of play and letting them boss him around. Through this engagement, his young soul shined through, where he still had an innocence to him and enjoyed the simple things in life. He was one of those loyal friends, that stuck by you through thick or thin and wouldn't judge you by your worst day, spending hours catching up with friends on video games or phone calls. He still had a long beautiful life to live and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The suddenness of his passing has left us not only with an immense emotional burden, but also with significant financial challenges with his passing. We are reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward covering these unexpected expenses. If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this fundraiser to help us spread the word. Your prayers, support, and love mean the world to us as we navigate through this unimaginable loss.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With gratitude,
