In Memory of Ja Knauer & Support of Jackie & Zoe
Donation protected
My best friend, Jackie and her daughter Zoe tragically lost a husband and father on May 16th, 2019. Jason Robert Knauer (Ja) was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident that he could not survive, he was only 45. His family and his daughter (Almost 16 yrs) had to make the devastating decision to remove him from life support later that night.

Jason had a passion for music and playing instruments which he passed down to his beloved daughter Zoe at a young age. He also loved cars and was quite mechanical. He even collected Hot Wheels (which he generously gave my son on some of our visits). Ja was looking forward to teaching his daughter Zoe how to drive, helping her with her first car and fixing it up, just as much as she was.

His biggest priority in life was to support his beloved family despite obstacles he faced. He loved his family more than anything in the world. And his sudden passing has just been completely devastating to his loved ones. Please help raise money to help support Jackie and Zoe through the worst time of their lives. Jackie is now the sole provider for Zoe.

Any funds raised will be used for:
1. Funeral Expenses and Short Term Bills related to loss of income while grieving with her daughter (25%).
2. Any necessary expenses related to Zoe that his child support would have covered in the mid-term (50%).
3. Milestone expenses such as driving lessons, Zoe's High School Graduation and post secondary education (25%).
Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and encouraging donations, or leaving supportive comments are appreciated as well. I will have control over the funds until the fundraiser is opened and will then transfer to Jackie. I guarantee the funds will be used for exactly what I outlined. If you don't feel comfortable donating through Go Fund Me, please contact me as there are alternate options.

Jackie was very reluctant to allow a GFM campaign. She has difficulty accepting help, yet oddly enough would give the shirt off her back to help a stranger. However, she understands that this fundraiser will benefit Zoe directly and indirectly, so I finally managed to get her acceptance. Please help us relieve a bit of financial stress and let them concentrate on saying good-bye and grieving. Thank you xo
