In Memory of Jabari D. Herndon

Our beloved family member Jabari D. Herndon --  a son, a brother, an uncle, and a nephew -- was senselessly killed on November 12, 2020.  We are creating this fundraiser in his honor which will support funeral arrangements and the immediate needs of his grieving mother and family. 

As you can imagine, the family is hurting deeply and we are trying to make sense of the senseless. Jabari had a warm heart, a great sense of humor, a perfect smile, and calm spirit. This is how we want to remember our Jabari. He is more than loved, and we will carefully prepare the memorial he deserves while giving the immediate family the space needed to grieve. 

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

We know there is an ongoing investigation into Jabari's death, but we are aware that he was an innocent bystander who was killed while sleeping. The facts that are emerging cut to the core. Jabari was not the only innocent person who was killed that day. Our hearts are with the other deceased person and several other people who were shot.

Please help us remember our Jabari and put an end to senseless gun violence.  Thank you for donating and sharing this message.
